being away

got to amsterdam today. wanted to take the time to relax and re-energize. mais jamais deux sans trois. pour la troisième fois depuis que je suis en tournée, j'ai appris le décès d'un proche. touring certainly has its perks, but bad news always come as a reminder that there's something left behind, elsewhere. and it also serves as a reminder that the world keeps on turning.
